Bicycling Montana, Wyoming,
Colorado & New Mexico

We are cycling from Billings, Montana to Lamy, New Mexico. Once again we will be riding our trusty Rans tandem recumbent; hard to believe it has carried us over 17,000 miles. This trip is unique in that we are going to rent a car in the middle of the trip to visit Mesa Verde and other parks. We will catch Amtrak in Lamy with a stop off in Williams to enjoy an excursion train to the Grand Canyon, we will then get back on Amtrak to Riverside CA, where we will rent a car to spend some leisure time in Desert Palms and to old visit friends in San Diego/Carlsbad area. Old friends that we have known since grade school. We are traveling alone this trip; however, in October we plan to cycle with George and Jane through Georgia, the Carolinas and Alabama.
