Moses Lake to Grand Coulee WA
Distance 70.2 Miles

This morning we got up at 5:00 ate breakfast and we were on the bicycle headed out of town before 7:00. The morning was cool and the traffic was light. But it didn't take long for the hills to start and the temperature to rise. We did well and stopped about once an hour for a break and to eat an orange or something light.

The scenery was beautiful we really like the high deserts. We arrived in Coulee City around 11:30 ate a good lunch and then headed on to Grand Coulee. Then the wind God smiled on us and gave us a good tail wind and the hills decided not to come so often. We made excellent tine for the last 26 miles and arrived in Grand Coulee in time to read our library books play some Sudoku before dinner. This town is built on steep hills and we are glad we can walk to dinner rather then ride. All in all we feel good and did better today with a 70 mile day then we did yesterday with a 56 mile day.
